Homework Organization

I needed a new look for our homework area... I currently have only one child in grade school but next year will have two in grade school and a pre-schooler so I needed a space to hold at least 3 kids' school stuff... I have to have a specific area, in view, in order for me to not forget it's there... so I of course went to our local thrift store in search for an idea... and what did I find?? Clip boards!!!

I like the look of a plain clipboard, and clipboards in general are just kinda cute, but I thought I might spruce em up a little... so I cut cute paper to size... you have to cut two little pieces for the top
then I mod podged them on...

I also printed out the letter of their first name and glued it onto the clip part...
then aged the edges with brown paint...

and mod podged over the top to "seel" it
and done! one for each kid... they usually only have one to two papers to hold onto for a couple days so I'll just clip them onto their clipboards until they get done, and go back in the backpack...
This is what I had hanging in this space, a ribbon board I made out of random things I had around the house... it served it's purpose for a good year, but just isn't that cute...
I hung them on the side of my cupboard by the kitchen table.... we have a small kitchen so I have limited homework space, we do homework on the table and needed a space, handy and right close by, this works great and is sooo cute I'm loving it...

Those are so dang cute! So I just did those frames for Breckyn's room. Love them. I did them last week and Bryce just noticed them. He walked but her room and said I really like those frames. I told him to thank you for the idea.

Can you do some for Relief Society so we don't have to look at the boring same clipboard all the time?
